Comments on thebackupbox

The odd stuff happening is because of OS upgrades (which accounted for the downtime, but most of it should work again) and I've been coding an httpd which accounts for the website weirdness. I'll try to get the httpd in working order tonight if I can. Otherwise I guess I'll install a third party httpd.

there is something wrong with the site's updating...i don't know if it is their's side or wechall side but (almost) 3 weeks ago it started updating stats to 0 points-0.00% (as i saw it does that to other users too not just me)...probably a misconfiguration i think..thanks!!!

is thebackupbox permantly down?

hack.thebackupbox.net was registered with freedns.afraid.org which means I didn't own the domain. The owner of thebackupbox.net seems to have let it expire. hacking.allowed.org is the continuation of that wargame though. If someone wants to buy thebackupbox.net you might be able to steal some of my old accounts that use that email still.

I'm that someone. I'll probably end up pointing this domain at hacking.allowed.org and transition to using only thebackupbox.net until allowed.org eventually disappears like this one did or worse.
